Rooms in Verona Dec 05

The last summer I went to see a lyric concert with my friends in Verona, I’d never been there before.
A marvellous concert in the Arena of Verona… the sky and the stars…

What a marvellous city! It’s a little town in the heart but it has facilities and services of a metropol.
Moreover, it is the birth place of Romeo & Juliet, that’s why Verona is called the lovers’ city.

We stayed in a small B&B in the very center of the town and we had a really good time!!

It’s Ad Centrum Bed and Breakfast, its name means exactly its own position in the city! The accommodation is in the historical centre of Verona, few steps from the train station and about 400 metres from Juliet’s house.

The owners were very friendly and gave us advices about places to go and see. They have many rooms all with the classic facilities and a kitchen you can use for cooking by yourself.

It’s very pretty and quite cheap! I recommend you to visit the site for further info…

Panettone for Pope Benedict XVI Dec 05

The Italian Federation of Bread Bakers has given one thousand panettone cakes to Pope Benedict XVI, with the aim of donating them to the poor people.  This sweet bread called Panettone is a typical Christmas food, very common in Italy together with the Pandoro.

It’s not the fist time that this happens, the Federation has been donating “panettoni” since 2000.
We are happy that everyone will have the chance to celebrate Christmas.

Bags inspired to Tuscany Dec 05

It’ s always difficult to find the perfect Christmas gift for the persons you love, especially for your exigent girlfriend!

On the basis that every woman loves bags, if your partner also likes the romantic atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside, but it would be too expensive for you to bring her in Italy, I found the synthesis.

The bag designer Poppy has created a line drawing inspiration from the impressive landscapes of Tuscany. This luxury bags have the colours of Tuscan hills and olive groves and are made with leather and semi-precious stones.

All things considered, I think that a tour of Tuscany would cost less!

Karaoke pub Dec 05

Do you like singing?
Do you like drinking?

If you like both, I got the place for you: there’s a pub in Florence (Kiwi Karaoke Pub) where, besides having a cocktail or a beer, you can become a singer… even if just for few minutes! Every evening there’s the chance, for everyone, to have fun performing in the karaoke.

If you want to be an all round entertainer you can also enter the Tuesday competition. Every Tuesday, in fact, amateurs and singers challenge in front of the public, that will decide who’s the winner.

If you are in Florence and you don’t know where to go, try out Kiwi Pub.
